Depp's performance is outrageously horrible, the movie is a cheap rip-off of everything that made the original Pirates trilogy great. Couldn't bring myself to watch the film a second time.

A big disappointment. That's anything but it's not Pirates of the Caribbean. The director did not care at all about the history of the other films, completely ignoring the entire plot marked by the trilogy.

This franchise really lost momentum after the first three films. Four was passable, but the script for this one is absolute nonsense. The thing I can't get over is that literally in every movie Jack gives his compass away to somebody.

I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. I thought this was absolutely epic! The acting is excellent, the CGI is extremely believable and the soundtrack is one of the most iconic I've heard. Awesome!
