The setup delivers something more appealing and visually epic than the journey that follows. A straightforward sci-fi film that doesn't overstay its welcome. The 90 minute runtime is the shining star here. In and out like a bank job.

Just finished it, only way to describe it is awful. Not often I fast forward a movie but I just wanted it to be over. I thought Adam Driver was better than this. He must have watched it at the Premiere and thought….what have I done ?

How did they find investors for this movie? Easily the most boring movie of 2023 so far. It does beg the question though: how do so many of these movies with budgets so much lower than the big blockbusters have cgi that's so much better?

It's ok to pass the time. Nothing spectacularly deep. They essentially have to get from point A to point B while not getting eaten by dinosaurs 🤷🏻‍♀️ Backstory is minimal and pretty much irrelevant to the plot.

So a spaceship travelling in outer space gets hits by meteors ... so it crashes on a planet with the pilot shouting 'I'm hit and going down'. It's a spaceship, not a Spitfire! From there the movie gets dafter.

Back in the 60s this would’ve been a great film. Pathbreaking with epic CGI action involving spacecraft and dinosaurs. All packaged up in a neat exit just as the asteroids strike.

Pacing is way too slow, lots of pointless dinosaur jump scares and encounters. Feels like a 30 minutes of content stretched out over 90+. Could definately watch this whole movie on fast forward and not miss a thing.
